Tech Crew
South Forsyth High School Performing Arts productions are optional after-school activities fully funded by the SFHS Performing Arts Boosters. Participation fees help support the costs of producing high-quality performances while providing students with an exceptional theatre experience
.
Tech fees are $100.00 PER SEMESTER not show.
They may help cover:
- Costumes, sets, props, and makeup
- Lighting, sound, and technical equipment
- Production materials and cast items
- Show shirts and show-day meals
- General production and theatre expenses
These fees help make our productions, performances, and student experiences possible throughout the season.
Application Dates
Students interested in joining the tech crew for a production must submit a completed production application by the posted deadline. Applications are required for each production and help our staff determine crew placement based on student interest, experience, availability, and production needs.
Important Things to know:
- Actor Agreement & Booster form must be completed to be cast.
- Tech Agreement & Booster form must be completed to participate.
- Students are expected to have a bag that includes water bottle, dance shoes and deodorant.
- Some rehearsals runs long. Student should pack snacks if needed.
- All students and parents are expected to join Band APP.

Our productions come to life because of our amazing volunteers. As a fully booster-funded program, South, we rely on volunteers to help make every production possible.
We have both ongoing volunteer opportunities throughout the season and specific needs for this production.
No experience is needed — we are happy to teach and support anyone who would like to get involved. Please contact us with any questions or to learn more about volunteer opportunities.
